Dr. Anna-Maria Yiannikos
Dr Anna-Maria Yiannikos, the Director of Yiannikos Centre for Holistic Dentistry, has evolved the dental services into a more harmonic approach between the oral cavity and the rest of the body. She aims to enhance the beauty and health of her patients.
A graduate of the Dentistry School of the University of Athens (Greece), in 1990, Dr Anna-Maria Yiannikos continued her education by completing a two-year Master's, in Lasers in Dentistry at the University of Aachen, in Germany.
She is the first female dentist in Europe who to have been awarded the Master Degree in Lasers in Dentistry.
Her dedication and love for dental lasers, naturally led to the establishment of AALZ Cyprus, the first franchise of AALZ Germany, an institution with a history of successful seminars on the Laser Safety Officer Course. Dr Anna-Maria has also successfully completed her M.B.A. at the CIIM College in Cyprus.
In May 2006, Dr Anna-Maria Yiannikos was awarded the prize for the best clinical research at the International Congress for Lasers in Dentistry, in Berlin.
From January 2008, Dr Anna-Maria Yiannikos is the Academic Co-Worker of RWTH Aachen University, in Germany, for the Master's Course in Lasers in Dentistry.
Yiannikos Centre for Holistic Dentistry is the first clinic in Cyprus, which was accredited with the ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001 in 2011.
In 2012, Dr Yiannikos successfully completed the Master Clinician Program in Aesthetic Dentistry, organized by the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
In 2017, Dr Anna Maria Yiannikos was certified in the Safe Mercury Amalgam Removal Technique (S.M.A.R.T), by the International Academy of Oral Medicine & Toxicology (IAOMT).
Over the last 15 years, Dr Yiannikos has been invited to be the keynote speaker in many European and international congresses.
Dr Anna Maria Yiannikos is the author of “Laser International Magazine” Oemus Media Leipzig, Germany.
Dr Yiannikos maintains a permanent residence in Cyprus and in addition to being the main dentist and director of Yiannikos Centre For Holistic Dentistry, she runs recreationally with DRO.ME.A racing and she is the mother of one daughter, Louiza.
